About the project
Bio-informatika is a private equity project in KOŠICE, SK with a value at completion of 600 000 EUR. The investment focused on a company operating in bioinformatics, genetics, diagnostics and related technology development.
Through its subsidiary Science Invest, the company specialised in diagnostic testing, DNA sequencing, bioinformatics analysis, development of new procedures and tests, and software and applications for bioinformatics. It used next-generation sequencing technology in DNA diagnostics.
Its activities included DNA paternity testing, development of clinical diagnostics methods, variant and virus analyses, transcriptomic and bioinformatics analyses, custom software development, pharmacogenetic tests, fragmentation analysis and DNA sequencing.
