At the recent conference “The Transport Future of the Republic of Croatia — What the TENT Corridors Bring Us” in Rijeka, what we at Sympatia have known for years was confirmed — which is why we have been investing heavily and over the long term in Croatia and Slovenia.

The European Parliament’s Committee on Transport and Tourism approved proposals to connect multiple Croatian road and rail routes to the TransEuropean Transport Network (TENT). As soon as next year, Croatia will sit at the crossroads of four European transport corridors.

Combined with Maersk’s planned new transshipment terminal in the Port of Rijeka and Croatian investments in highways and the rail network, this region is set to become a key logistics hub for Central and Southeast Europe — a gateway for imports and exports from around the world, particularly Asia.

This development is driving very strong demand for highquality logistics and manufacturing facilities. We have already built several such projects and have more under construction or in planning. These assets are already generating steady rental income in the millions of euros.
