About the project
In 2018, we completed and sold the project of a warehouse and administrative premises in the locality of Ljubljana – Brnik, near the international airport Jože Pučnik – Ljubljana, which is owned by one of the largest airport operators in the world – Fraport. The warehouse is the largest warehouse in Central Europe that meets strict international GPM standards for the storage and handling of drugs and pharmaceuticals. The warehouse is used exclusively for Novartis, the second-largest pharmaceutical company in the world.
Based on this positive experience and considerable demand for production and storage space in the area, we participated in developing another production and storage hall project in the area. In 2021, we managed to complete the acquisition of the last large undeveloped plot of land included in the master plan of the zone around the airport and prepare an attractive project for the global manufacturer of home appliances and power tools, Bosch. The project has BREEAM certification, uses heat pumps for heating and cooling the entire facility, and a photovoltaic power plant is located on the roof. In 2023, the project was successfully handed over to its tenant.
